Install FaucetSystem Faucet Script
Step 1: Get the script:
Keep in mind that, in order to get this script working with FaucetSystem, you need to create an account there and deposit some bitcoins.
Step 2: Get FaucetHub API Key / Get Captcha Keys / Upload files / Create database
Step 3: Import sql file to database
First, download the faucet script zip file and extract it on your computer.
Inside the extracted directory, you will find a file called !dump.sql.
We need to import that file into the webhosting database.
Login to your 000webhost account
Go to Manage database
Click Manage next to your database name
Login to your cPanel Dashboard
Find phpMyAdmin under Databases and click it
Once phpMyAdmin has loaded, find your database name on the left and click on it (i’m using a database named ‘testing’ for this guide):
Navigate to Import
Click Choose File and browse your computer for the !dump.sql file
If everything went well, you should see this message:
Step 4: Edit script’s config file
Open the file manager from 000webhost or cPanel and navigate to your webroot.
Find the config.php, right click it and select Edit.
Edit the file with the database host, name, user and password you created at Step 2.
Save and close the file.
IMPORTANT: Grant write permissions to tmp/ folder.
Use the file manager to navigate to the same web root directory (where you found config.php file) and right click on the tmp/ directory, click Change Permissions and check all boxes:
Step 5: Configure your FaucetSystem faucet
Open up a browser and go to http://yourdomain.com. If everything worked out good, you should see an unconfigured version of your faucet.
Your default login is:
Now, the mandatory configuration you need to make here is:
Dashboard > FaucetHub API Key
Settings > Security > Global timer (time between claims), reCaptcha and/or SolveMedia keys, admin username and password (CHANGE THEM).
Settings > Money settings > Add here the prizes you want to give out (maybe 50sat – 75% / 75sat – 15% / 100sat – 10% or whatever you choose).
The rest of the configuration (such as your faucet name) is up to you.
Also, in the Ads position tab you can insert the ad blocks code once you’ve registered and got approved inside an advertising network.
